The SolJet SJ-1045 PRO II V grand format printer is Roland's widest and fastest ECO-SOL MAX printer ever!  At more than 2.6 metres wide, it prints billboards, banners, and vehicle graphics up to 48 square metres per hour.  The SJ-1045 PRO II V includes a robust media handling system for long unattended printing.

Like the rest of the SolJET range, the SJ-1045 prints brilliant graphics directly onto uncoated materials without harmful fumes or expensive ventilation systems.  Graphics dry fast and last up to 3 years outdoors (Based on accelerated weather tests. Results may vary according to location and application)

Revolutionary ECO-SOL MAX INK is formulated to be gentle for both users and the environment. Choose from ordinary signmaking vinyl and banner materials for lower production costs, or Roland's premium SOL MEDIA, including backlit and glossy paper, for dependable outdoor and indoor use. As always, Roland provides unparalleled support, including profiles for over 50 of the most popular materials.
Roland's variable droplet technology and bundled Roland VersaWorks software help keep ink costs low by selecting the proper ink coverage and droplet size for optimum printing results. VersaWorks also provides a number of convenient layout features, to help you achieve the most efficient media usage.

Ink Configurations

The six colour SJ-1045 comes loaded with your choice of dual sets CMYKLcLm or CCMMYK inks to achieve rich, vibrant colours even at high print speeds.  The Roland SJ-1045 now comes standard with the IS-1000 bulk feed system which will hold up to 24 x 440ml cartridges.

Unsurpassed Print Quality

With variable droplet Piezo print heads and a digital servo motor to control the media feed, the SJ-1045 precisely controls droplet placement, in both the print head travel and paper feed directions, to provide smooth output - even at the highest speeds.

Roland Versaworks Rip included

Roland Versaworks Rip software provides precision colour management and contour cutting. Simultaneous RIP&Print capability, enhanced colour management and several convenient layout options including nesting, tiling and cropping are just a few of its powerful features. Roland Versaworks is easy to use - even for people unfamiliar with Rip software.  Everything you want to know is visible without having to click on menus.

Media Handling System

The Roland SJ-1045 uses a heavy-duty media handling system with idler bars to maintain proper tension and precise media tracking, even during long continuous print jobs. It's designed to enable lengthy, unattended printing. The system supports rolls weighing up to 100kg and offers front access for convenient loading and unloading

Media Heating System

All Roland Soljet inkjets include an integrated media heating system that accelerates ink fastness, brightness and drying times. SJ-1045 features three heaters to accelerate ink fastness and drying time
