Sign Essentials appointed Teckwin Distributor for Queensland

Positive Camtec Pty Ltd is pleased to announce that they have signed an Exclusive Distribution Agreement with Sign Essentials Pty Ltd to offer the Teckwin product range to the Queensland market. The agreement covers the entire Teckwin Printer range, Consumables and service.

“Positive Camtec have represented Teckwin in Australia since 2005 and have cemented the brand in the market place as a high quality and reliable manufacturer” said Ray Clarke, Positive Camtec’s Managing Director. “The opportunity to work with Sign Essentials and to have them represent Teckwin means a great deal to the local market. Sign Essentials are a very reputable company sharing our philosophy for exceptional pre sales advice and after sales service.”

“We have known Ray, Phil and the team at Positive Camtec for many years now through our mutual association with Tekcel CNC Routers” comments Sean Strange, General Manager of Sign Essentials. “Through that association I knew they had a similar philosophy to us with regard to service and support. It is probably the most critical component in building a successful long‐term relationship and vital in enabling Sign Essentials to provide our customers with the support levels they have come to expect.”
After spending much time evaluating the Teckwin products the team at Sign Essentials were more than satisfied. “We were blown away with the build and print quality, attention to detail, ease of use and innovation contained in the Teckwin products” said Sean.
With the addition of the new TeckStorm R to the Teckwin product range, Sign Essentials are looking forward to offering the brand to the local market. “The new TeckStorm R is a very impressive machine and should prove to be a big seller in the coming months” continues Sean. “The roll‐to‐roll feature is a really clever design, not just a bolt on like on some other machines. With the TeckStorm R you get a true flatbed and a true roll‐to‐roll machine in one.”
The way Teckwin has spent much time and effort to offer a reliable and cost effective solution for White ink printing also impressed the team at Sign Essentials. “A great feature is the way the TeckStorm handles white ink,” said Hayden Bazant, Sign Essentials Printer Specialist. “We all know that white inks need to be agitated to prevent separation and most machines just pump the white ink out as waste to keep it moving. Teckwin’s innovative approach is to recirculate the ink throughout the system, which will save end‐users thousands of dollars worth of wasted ink whilst maintaining the consistency of the ink. They’ve really done it well.”

Sign Essentials awarded Roland Partner of the Year At the recent Roland Awards Dinner, held at Darling Harbour in Sydney, Sign Essentials was delighted to receive the Roland Partner of the Year award for 2009. Roland Dealers throughout Australia were eligible to win this award which recognises excellence in sales volume, customer support, product knowledge and administration. The award was presented by Roland DG's Managing Director Marc Margetts. Previously known as the Dealer of the Year Award, this is the fourth time we have received this accolade since 2000. The management of Sign Essentials would like to thank all staff and customers for contributing to our success.
Roland Award for Most Outstanding Service & Support 2009 Sign Essentials is proud to have been awarded Roland DG's Award for Most Outstanding Service and Support 2009. The award was presented at the Roland Awards Dinner in Sydney by Roland's Product Manager Conrad Birkett. This is the sixth time Sign Essentials has received this award - previously winning in 1997/1998, 2002/2003, 2004/2005, 2005/2006 and 2007 (no awards were presented for 2008). It's an achievement we're very proud of, as service is something we always strive to excel in. All Roland dealers throughout Australia were eligible. A big thank you to all our hard working support staff and service people who helped us achieve this award.
Queensland Dealer of the Year Award 2009 Sign Essentials also received the award for Roland’s Queensland Partner of the Year for 2009. This is the ninth consecutive year Sign Essentials has received this award and it reaffirms our commitment to the Queensland sign industry. We made a decision many years ago to concentrate on the Queensland area and not spread ourselves too thin. This award once again validates that decision. The award was presented by Roland DG's Managing Director Marc Margetts at the annual awards dinner in Sydney. Thanks to all our customers from Far North Queensland down to the Gold Coast who supported us throughout this period.
Roland's Administration Partner Award 2009 Sign Essentials has been awarded Roland DG's Administration Partner Award for 2009. The award was presented by Roland DG's Chief Financial Officer Camryn Turner. This award was voted for by all Roland's Accounts and Admin staff and recognises our excellence in account payments, warranty reports, and general administrative functions. Thanks to all our staff and customers for contributing to this award.
Golden Dealer Sign Essentials awarded "Golden Dealer Status" by Roland DG. This award was presented in recognition of purchases of more than One Million Dollars in 2009. This is the sixth consecutive year we have achieved this status. Once again, considering the population of Queensland, this is quite an achievement. A special thanks to everyone who bought a Roland product from us this past year.
